In the age of AI, evolutionary theory will become a critical cultural and business theory. This is because evolution is concerned with observed life. Life is essentially information that folds upon itself and stories play out on that manifold.

AI makes it important not so much to be first in culture or technology, but to be right. AI makes everything very oozy and new ideas arrive and flow quickly. That is AI now allows minds to notice an occupy cultural and tech niches faster than we could in the past. The game now becomes one of fitness and niche domination.

The individual or the groups’ ability to find+work in thickets and to be effectively lost will become a property on which the new natural selection will act. Being lost is important because LLMs now allow everybody to find ideas nearly simultaneously. The way to reach beyond this will be to create a new culture, which can get very good at being lost and reach beyond what the what AI can enable.
